Tail lamp wire sheathing

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for some of the steel surround/sheathing for the tail lamp wire for my 31 Studebaker. I've seen new stainless at swap meets and on line, but I'd like a used piece in steel since my car isn't a restoration.  Mine is also smaller diameter (about 3/8" od) than what I've seen available. I need a piece approximately 30" long. I'll try to post a pick. Anybody have anything like this in their stash that they're not going to use, and would sell me?

Thanks!

Try the filling station, it may look too new for your taste but you could paint or stain it?

Part number AF-58 is zinc plated and 28" long, they have other choices.

Thanks for all the replies!  I've sent an email to the filling station - hoping it's the same size!  Will look at Rhode Island wiring too!

Cabnut - can you post the od and possibly a photo of your wire?  It may have been all the same armour sheathing used.

Thanks again!
