MajesticDean
I was wondering are these correct fender skirts for a 1939 buick? Did they even have them as an options? Info does anyone know what the ones in these pictures are from they seem to fit nice.
Dynaflash8
Those are aftermarket skirts. Factory skirts have no flare and have a small "tip" at the bottom front of the skirt meant to hide the little turn-in at the bottom of the fender. In fact, they are exactly like 1939 Ford skirts, as well as all other 1939-1940 GM cars. In addition, I have literature from Buick that says "Sequoia Cream" was only available on convertible models. MajesticDean
I was wondering which ones are more correct first or second set.? I know the front bracket is different on them.
Dynaflash8
I don't know what the big question is. It is the first one because it has the small protruding tip on the bottom of the front on the fender. You can't tell in the picture but it is also supposed to be bulged, not flat
