Guest Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 Putting the dash back together on the 57 T-Bird and got stumped by a really stupid thing - is the Gen idiot light or the Oil light on the drivers side of the steering column. Yes ... I took all kinds of notes when I dissasembled the dash 3 years ago - but they conflict with each other. Musta had one too many. Any Bird enthusiasts out there that can help?I have the Electrical schematics that are sold in the Blue book for T-birds. Guest Posted September 13, 2002 Share Posted September 13, 2002 I can tell you that on my '56 Sunliner, the oil/gen lights go on the drivers (left) side of the steering col, and I thought the instrument clusters were similar. I would do a search for used T-Birds on the web, and most of them should have photos of the interior, so that may be able to help. I have some interior pictures that I took at Hershey last year but can't make out the letters on the jewels. Eyes are the second thing to go.
