1937 Buick 66C
I have recently acquired a 1932 Packard 900 Roadster. Is there a way to actually see the engine oil? It has a gauge on the left side of the engine that indicated the crankcase is full; I would like to actually take a look at the oil, without draining the crankcase but cannot easily see a way to accomplish this. Restorer32
No, there is no way. The float on the gauge can stick or become saturated and sink. I would remove it and check on its condition.
