I. Have a 1935 Buick the is currently being restored  and while the grille shell is off I thought it would be a good idea to install a 6 volt electric fan pusher fan in front of the radiator. Though it never really ran hot I thought it might come in handy when stopped at long red lights or in a parade. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks. Greg

If " ... it never really ran hot ... ", I would leave it alone and rely on the original fan to pull air through the radiator.  Typical "pusher" electric fan installations involve mounting the fan directly to the radiator core, and this restricts the flow of air through the core unless the fan is operating.   Of course restricted air flow means less heat dissipation resulting in more retained heat (in the engine).  I'm a big believer in the old adage: "If it aint broke, don't fix it".

Cheers,

Grog
