bp6316 Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 I know we are working with limited info here, but trying to date this photo and thought maybe the cars might help. Any help you could offer would be great.
Dosmo Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 The car closest to the fire hydrant appears to be a Valiant from 1960-62. The car on the other side of the Valiant looks like a 1963 Buick. 3
Fleek Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 The truck in the background looks like a '55 to '59 chevrolet from the shape of the cab.
emjay Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Yeah but the guy leaning on the parking meter is on his cell phone or is he just holding his head while watching the city folk? Not being a city guy, I'm not familiar with street layouts. It appears that the drug store front projects from the main building such that parking is created for three spaces and a hydrant. I'm curious what the street looks like behind the part cars. I suspect the parked cars came in from a square in that there is an intersection behind the parked vehicles.
Ozstatman Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 The bigger picture has what appears to be a page number, 187, at lower right. If it is a book page, when was the book printed?
