65 Riviera Gran Sport on Jay Leno's Garage

Last nights episode had a beautiful '65 Riviera Gran Sport on it. Jay was a bit confused about engine specs - but can't really blame him as it must be very hard to keep track of specs on as many cars, trucks, bikes, etc. that he owns. Worth taking a look if you love (even like) the first generation Rivieras.

Lots of comments over on the Riviera Owners forum.  "Why can't they get it right?"  Chances are this is not one of Leno's cars.  He probably borrowed it so his guest Bill Burr could drive the "car of his dreams."

Leno does NOT own that 65. It belongs to a friend of mine. 

 

I am trying to get him to create a username & login for the Rivi Forum to answer any Q’s.

Just noticing this thread is a month old. A famous personality, old car guy, and lots of TV exposure. I am making the fifth comment and only three mention the celebrity.

 

If I was Leno and saw this I would make a point of taking my publicist somewhere nice for lunch today. They may be helping him more than he knows.
