MoparDad Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I just picked up a '52 Windsor Deluxe 4 door, and one of the few issues with it is that the Fluid Drive shifter from the column does not engage the linkage to change the gears. I can change the gears manually by moving the linkage with my hand while someone else has the clutch depressed, but the shifter somehow came disengaged over time. It pulls the linkage back to get into reverse, but it does not rotate the linkage side to side to engage low, high and reverse. Does anyone know if there is maybe a keyway that might have came out for this to happen? Any ideas of a good fix? Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot, guys. Dave
Rusty_OToole Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 One of us is going to have to watch the linkage under the hood and under the car while someone works the shifter, slowly. You are closer than we are.
