56 Buick Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 (edited) Hi all Does anyone know where I can buy the roof rail seals for the 2 door Hardtop. This is the seal underside the roof rail that the side windows seal against when the windows are up. I have looked on the Net and have found seals for the 4 door but not the 2 door. Thanks Drew Edited February 13, 2018 by 56 Buick Spelling error (see edit history)
56 Buick Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 I did not locate the item on their website but I may have to contact them and ask. Thanks
56 Buick Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 I contacted them and they say they only have roof rail weatherstrip for the 4 door special/century and nothing for the 2 door. Anyone ever come across a supplier? Thanks
JohnD1956 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Is there a seal on the small bodied 2 dr? My Super has the flipper unit for the front door and a chrome faced channel for the rear window. Neither has a conventional seal. But there is a strip of seal that goes between the flipper and the roof. Is that what you need?

56 Buick Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 Thanks. Sorry bad description on my part, yes it is the strip of seal. Is there a product name for that strip?
Auburncoupe Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Yes the small/large series has a long flat thin rubber seal held on by black tar like adhesive. I just sold a nice used pair of these seals. Might be able to do another set. If needed please send a private message. I miss sometimes posts...Thank you.
