cahartley
Check with this guy. I haven't heard or read a bad syllable about him......nothing but GREAT reviews. He hauls a LOT of Model T's around the country and they are a tough crowd. http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/506218/543249.html?1432393245 http://www.mtfca.com/cgi-bin/discus/board-profile.cgi?action=view_profile&profile=enclosed_ford_transport-users

Restorer32
TRULY VINTAGE will only deal with the vehicles' owner. As a restoration shop he refuses to haul customers' cars for us saying he considers us brokets. Makes no sense to me but it's his business. He can do as he wants.

caddyshack
"freighter jim" is the Model T hauler referred to by others as "truly vintage". He is active on the MTFCA site regularly, but I do not know if he hauls all over the country. He has good reviews on the Ford sites and if he does not cover your area he could recommend someone for sure, Good luck.
Trulyvintage
Someone sent me a message about this thread - since I am mentioned above .... I have been hauling since 2006 - have been here on the AACA forum since 2008. I provide Direct Enclosed Transport for the MTFCA Museum in Richmond, IN. I have safely hauled at least (9) vehicles for the museum over the years. Regarding this transport request - my advice would be to store the car until March or April when an independent hauler could build a trip to transport it: On 1/27/2018 at 3:03 PM, bobg1951chevy said: I need to try here, no replies at TRAILER FORUM. Thank you. It is not just an 850 mile trip - you have to drive empty to the pick up location. Once you drop off - you have to continue with another load or you will sit in the Cold burning thru cash - waiting for another Haul out of the Cold. This Hauler sums it up - short & sweet but right on target: On 1/30/2018 at 8:40 PM, bobg1951chevy said: Paul, I made contact and received a reply from Mike West. He is not interested at this time. I have had calls requesting car transport in and out of areas experiencing temperatures well below normal combined with ice - hail - freezing rain - snow. I refuse to risk my life - my equipment - or a customer’s vehicle because they can’t wait until Spring when safe driving conditions allow for safe transport. If you decide to purchase a vehicle during a bad winter - make arrangements to store it until the Spring. I am available currently to haul one vehicle from Phoenix, AZ to Salinas, CA on February 5th. I will be available for direct enclosed auto transport out of Las Vegas, NV on February 13th with 32 feet of enclosed trailer space.
