Anthony Nemeth Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 1964 Skylark , 2 Door Hardtop, Bucket Seats, One year only 350 Wildcat ENGINE Aluminum Head, 4 barrel. 12 bolt Posi-track rear end , Near complete numbers matching, No rust through, and only spotty light surface rust. Aztec Gold original color with most all trim and good original glass. The engine needs Pistons, STD. bore is near perfect, and heads are nice and unharmed.. The engine was removed because one of the 11:1 factory piston broke in the ring lands due to todays poor gas. Cylinder bores are unharmed , and do not need boring. as also the heads are near perfect. This car is rust out free. It is a Oregon car from new. Drivers side rear quarter panel has been straightened but never finished and was then dented again. It could also use a replacement rear bumper as the original is bent. the rest of the car shows small dents and scrapes but nothing serious . Interior will need a full restoration. This is a one year only engine but will take LATER 300 V8 9:1 pistons I am told. A very soil project at a very attractive PRICE, especially for a very UNUSAL EARLY" hi pro" BUICK $4500.00 firm. The car is in Southern Oregon near Interstate 5. arnemethengineering.ltd@gmail.com
ol' yeller Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Minor point but your engine is a 300 CID V8. It is also known as a Wildcat 355 which is the torque rating of the 4 barrel carb engine and is labeled so on the air cleaner, if it is still there. It is not a 350.
