WindsorRon Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 In the past I have added SAE10wt non-detergent oil to re-fill the fluid drive. Non-detergent oil is no longer legal in California. Is there any issues with adding detergent oil at this point? How about tractor fluid TDH ISO32 grade? Would this be better? Any problems with mixing them?
skyler Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 why not get it out of state. you are not hurting the environment as the unit is sealed. i used hydraulic jack oil in mine when i had one. it is a good viscosity and is non-foaming. the iso 32 will work as well. not sure about mixing them. skyler
Rusty_OToole Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 TDH tractor fluid, ISO22 or ISO32 grade. For more details do a search for fluid drive or fluid drive fluid. This question has been discussed in depth at least 100 times.
c49er Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 California and Washington.... the example of environmental utopia. I love oil with cadmium, sulpher and zinc for my old cars.
