Wheelmang Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 The following pictures are for the front seat pan in a 1926 DB 6V. The pan is out of a 27 DB but it does not look to me like it is going to work in my 26. There are gaps between the edge of the pan and the side of the body. Should there be something else there that I do not have or is this just the wrong pan for this car? It is a perfect fit inside the frame rails and front to back where the PO made plywood floors. Also it appears that there may have been some kind of hinge affair at the front of the pan. I presume this was to gain access to the storage area underneath. Any comments/input greatly appreciated. Also if this is the correct pan could someone be kind enough to post a couple of pictures of correct installation? Thanks all Paul
DB26 Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Here is the front seat pan from my 6 volt 26 DB 1
Wheelmang Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks Guys: Looks like I have the lower section of the base and a PO plywood manufactured upper section. This one is going to the back burner for a while until I have the time to fabricate an upper section and extend the sides. It will eventually be in the car and functional. I appreciate the feedback!
