Cabriolet top inserts? GM? What year?

Hello all!

 

Some time back I bought these parts sight unseen being told they were for a '32 Chevrolet Landau Phaeton; turn out they are not. 

 

What I have here is what I believe to be Cabriolet top insert for above the doors. They look to be NOS or never used (pair). They even have the original bag to keep them in which looks like the Tan Spanish Gain material used for Chevrolet open cars and Cabriolets of the '30s. 

 

If someone can help me figure out what they are, I would like to see them go to a good home some please. They might even be as late as a '37-38 cabriolet, I can't check that any more as my buddy's car is long gone. Note: four snaps on the the side for hooking the top to.

 

And, yes, they are for sale.
