information needed

hi all from australia,

 

i have come into posession of i think a 1933 dodge special it was fitted out with an air compressor and a hand winch tipper tray. i was wondering if any one would be able to steer me in the right direction of either possibly finding out its heritage , how to find the identifying numbers/ letters and such? thank you in advance. i understand that this may be a bit of a pipe dream but im more than willing to give it a red hot go so i can pass it down to my kids.

Hi,

These truck models were made from 1933 to 35 in different sizes. The engine no is on the block just under the head. 

The chassis no is probably on the chassis rail under the front guard.

TJ Richards made bodies/cabs for them.

thank you for the reply manuel, would you know of where i may be able to obtain the information ( paper wise) that could help or would it be gone in the sands of time?

I can't help with the air compressor and the hand winch tipper tray. I can possibly decipher the serial / engine numbers if you find them.

Ebay is the best source for original manuals. Where are you located in Aus?
