oldford Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 That is the spark coil. These were bolt-on conversions offered for people who wanted to change from the factory supplied magneto to a distributor... Frank

Frank With the Dodge brothers tag on it this must have been a standard part of an early Dodge car ... or is there more to the story
oldford Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 My National Service Data book shows 1915-16 had either the Eisemann magneto or the Northeast Model O Distributor. 1917 was only the distributor. Anyone who has ever used an Eisemann knows they were troublesome... Frank
29tons Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) 1925 or before that 12 volt engines 4 cylinder I have seen these I believe its a stock dodge brothers part also try dodgebrothersclub.org Edited January 17, 2018 by 29tons (see edit history)
RAH Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 That North East model O type 10004 was standard equipment on Dodge Brothers from '18 to '25. It was preceded by the Model O type 10000 which replaced the Delco unit in late '16 -'17.
