nzcarnerd
This one has the same style lights. Maybe an earlier car of the same make?
Leif Holmberg
The crashed car seems to be a Winton late 1910s? Leif in Sweden.

oldford
I searched for an octagon emblem that looked similar and found a Westcott around 1916. Looking at the Standard Catalog, it might be a match. Frank
tripwire
I don't know the make of car but the fellow leaning against it looks a lot like Anton Westgard. Wes in VT
gwells
Oldford, that Westcott is a definite match for me. Look at the base of the windshield and compare the two.
nzcarnerd
Thanks for the assistance. There is a Westcott here in NZ, 1917 I think, a very original car but I have not seen it. Regarding the second car I did think looked Winton-ish (?) but didn't think it looked big enough. Checking The Standard Catalog I see that from 1916-1920 Winton built a smaller model on a wheelbase ten inches shorter than their big car, so I guess this is one of these. There is a story regarding the Winton crash here - http://ghostsofdc.org/2012/02/04/watch-out-for-that-tree-mailbox-lamp-post-and-emergency-callbox/#at_pco=smlrebh-1.0&at_si=5a4e7e10dec57665&at_ab=per-2&at_pos=3&at_tot=
Mark Wetherbee
The Westcott has a National Highways Association hood ornament on it as well...
