nzcarnerd Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I think it is a bit later than that. Maybe a Pope-Toledo or ?? More like 1905??
Casper Friederich Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 (edited) Yes, Pope-Toledo very muck like the somewhat smaller tan coloured rear-entrance tourer Gustaf LM Ericsson, son of the Swedish telephone-pioneer, had. That car is included in the by Ny tidning för idrott printed automobile register of Stockholm, dated 1 October 1905. https://digitaltmuseum.se/021016300093/automobil-med-passagerare-utanfor-gustaf-lm-ericssons-automobilfabrik-vid Edited January 3, 2018 by Casper Friederich (see edit history)
caddyshack Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 The photo is a 1904 Pope Toledo VI I believe. The '05 Toledo has rear side doors on their models VII, IX, and X. I believe that 1904 was the last year for the rear entrance body style. It is possible that an '04 model could have been made in late '03. These early models may have started production in late '03 and carried over designs during the '04 production run. Nice photo by the way.
