JZRIV Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Think the first is a 66 but not sure. Can't see rocker molding well enough. A GS with headrests! And the ladies admiring a new 65 1
PWB Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 66 GS badge as the 67 was italicized. Note also the fender molding riding higher than the door. Who is in the top photo?? Cool
RivNut Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 The second picture is typical of the ads that dealerships would buy for publication in the local high school year books. Chances are that Pat, Becky, Priscilla, and Sue were pretty popular senior girls. 1
Chimera Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Thanks Jason. Paul nailed the GS. 1970...too much HP?! 1
JZRIV Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Lol GS staring me right in face on first pic. Needed more recovery time just getting back from Key West. Safe to say the driver of the 70 wasn’t texting. Possibly 1 too many at the gin mill. Check out sissy bar and handle bars on kids bike. Screaming early 70s vintage

first64riv Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Why weren't any of the girls in the driver's seat?! HAHA. I love those old ads. Chris

I distinctly remember being "in awe" of any/all high school Senior girls back then! Didn't care what their names were! Edited December 31, 2017 by DShip (see edit history) 1

Yeah, and they have the nerve to walk up to the geek guy with glasses and pimples 50 years later and say "Boy! I had such a crush on you in High School." 1
