Need help identifying a hubcap???

A friend is trying to figure out what vehicle this hubcap went on... any ideas? We are stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those were the standard hubcap for 1954 Hornets, but were in the earlier accessory catalogs. Didn't sell well, maybe they had so many left that they used them up on the '54s.

 

They had a real problem flying off the wheel on hard turns. The '54 wheels eventually had a small piece welded to the wheel to keep them from rotating and cutting the valve stem.
