ragtop4two Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 This photo was uploaded to a facebook group of my hometown that I belong to. They say the photo is circa 1925 but the car behind the truck looks early 50s to me. Could someone identify it?
vermontboy Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 The headlights are close together just like on the other vehicles in the picture but my guess would be the picture is early 30's.

John_S_in_Penna Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Mr. Ragtop, is the picture from your current town, London, Ontario? It would be especially interesting if you're in a position to snap a current photo from the same location, same angle. In some towns, little has changed in 80 years; in others, only slight vestiges remain of the past. "Then" and "Now" pictures can be fascinating!

That photo is Chatham Ontario and I believe those buildings were torn down to build the mall downtown back in 1980
DLynskey Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 The coupe appears to be a 1929 or 1930 Chevrolet. The sedan is too grainy for me to identify but seems to be about the same vintage. Don
Dave Mellor NJ Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 That round emblem between the headlights on the sedan possibly makes it a LaSalle like this 28
nzcarnerd Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 That sedan is not big enough to be a LaSalle. It is more likely to be a 1930 Plymouth. That is the horn between the headlights.
