Another wild goose chase or hunt for the golden egg-

my friend has a 1920 kissell. It has a generator with a shaft that goes through to drive the water pump and a gear mechanism in the side To drive the distributor. It’s a Delco unit and it’s internals are all missing. We need to find one.

Does anyone have any Kissell Parts that may have a generator?

Linus - These Kissel generator/Distributor units are pretty much unique and hard to find. The rear part of the generator, which houses the vertical distributor shaft, was originally made of pot-metal. These ussally deteriorate with time. If you are lucky, yours is still good. But if not, just cast one out of brass or cast three and I'll buy the other two. These sell for 500-800 each.
