alsfarms
Information of note: Bob and I determined that it would be best to restore it as an early Model L (1909) which has a slightly different style from a later series Model L (1912-13). The choice to have a satin finish was also a point of deliberation. This wheel is certainly going to be a beautiful addition to my Locomobile. I would recommend Steering Wheel Bob to anyone who has a wheel that needs serious restoration. I will have the wheel back in my possession next Monday. alsfarms
Here is another update on the Locomobile Model L restoration. Just when I have been trying to stay focused on the steering gear, I get teased with a very suitable horn for this automobile. I already have a Rubes horn but have not been all that please with it for use on the Locomobile. As this negotiation plays out, I will update here.
