65 Kick panels attachment

How are the carpeted kick panels secured to the sides of the footwell ? 

1 screw through the bottom hole of metal vent and the leading edge tucked into metal windlace 

fold ??  I may start asking dumber questions as the winter goes on , been 7 years since disassembly ... ( I did take pictures , but not this detail )

Dang, not one response.  I was hoping someone would reply back to this because I just got my new kick panels from Clark's today and wanted to know the exact same thing.

If it helps any, on my`64  one screw ( on the bottom) is screwed through the grill and backer board into the vent, the top two screws go through the grill and backer board into screw clips placed flat on the backer board. the edge goes into the molding that is attached to the body and holds the windlace in place. once you take a look it should be clear as mud
