Steve2150 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 1990 Reatta Coupe, lately the warning light electrical problem is on and the a/c temp goes to 75 and the defrost light button lights up, cannot turn off the a/c or change modes, this is when the motor is on controls not responsive. If I just put the car ignition on accessory then the a/c control works perfectly. Any ideas???
Fleek Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I would suggest posting this in the Reatta section of the Buick forums just below this general forum. Think you may have a good chance of finding the answer among the Reatta folks who hang out there. Most of the people here in the general are in to older cars. Good luck on your search.

Good advise, also check your ground connections, and use a good multi-meter at the unit to determine any variation in current between "run" and "accessory". You may not be getting enough voltage when the car is running due to some other current draw
