1925 Chrysler for sale $900

Recommended Posts

1925 Chrysler 2 door sedan. Believed to be a model 70.The wood is rotten and the top is gone. No Engine or transmission. Only a small amount of rust... good frame, sound 20 inch wooden wheels with recent tires, steering and hydraulic brakes complete at the wheels and look good. 4 pretty good fenders and cowl, hood and radiator. Instruments. Some seat springs. bumpers. I've had this since 2005 and haven't made any progress so it needs to go!   Also: 1950 Straight 8 ( C-49) engine. Good condition (running when removed a few years ago and stored inside and turned over occasionally)

Hi Leif,

The car you have I don't think is a model 70. The instrument panel would appear to be either a model 60 or more likely a model 50.

If you look on the dashboard there is a small oblong plate with Chrysler written across it, look more carefully and you will see numbers and letter behind and above the Chrysler script, something like FY001H, this is the cars serial number, from which we can identify the car you have.

If you can give us this info or a close up picture of this ID plate, it will help. Also what size 20 inch tires are fitted.

Best regards

Viv.

Not a Model 60 or 70 interment cluster ( both had fuel gauges) but looks like the 4 cylinder cluster.

There were some 4 cylinder cars with hydro brakes. The serial number on the dash will tell.

Wheel base on the 4s are 109". The W.B. for the Model 70 is 112.75"

The Model 60 had W.B. of 109", hydraulic brakes,  a white instrumentation with a fuel gauge with the dash set up like the Model 70'5a1c4b1ad09c5_26dash.thumb.JPG.93e78ccf2fc8e306381c4e7d1d8d7f7b.JPGs

More photos would help ID your car
