Guest
I work for The Mount, Edith Wharton's restored house and gardens in Lenox, Mass. In addition to being a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Mrs. Wharton also was an early adopter of the automobile, and her cars played an important role in her life. Her first car was a 1904 Pope-Hartford. Does anyone out there have one of these cars, and would you be interested in working with us to spotlight it as part of our historically focused programs next year, the 100th anniversary of when she would have acquired the car? (If we can't find a 1904 model, we'd be interested in a model year close to 1904...) If so, please contact me! Thanks! Pam Kueber
1937hd45
I have a friend with two 1904 Pope-Hartfords. I'll see him this weekend and ask.
