oldwhizzer Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I have a friend in buffalo that has a 1957 tbird. motor that he is not using if interested.
mercer09 Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 very good old whizzer heading that way over the holidays rdz69@aol.com thank you Bleach! 1
Bleach Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 A 312 will be a difficult engine to find but 292's should still be easy to find. Be careful of someone offering a 312. It's very difficult to verify one without opening it up.
mercer09 Posted December 9, 2017 Author Posted December 9, 2017 can use either Bleach, so not important to me which- can also use a 272-just have a pretty clean body with a manual overdrive trans and would like to assemble it. Whizz-found your engine on CL thank you.
Bleach Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I know you could use any of those engines. There are unscrupulous sellers out there with 292's that will try to pass them off as 312's and charge a premium for it.
