Is this an original paint scheme

Could the paint scheme in this photo be original.  It's the only photo I've seen where black starts below the belt line and is also part of the hood line.

This is not original.  It is my car during it's "blue period".  Now it is back to it's original maroon.  I was out voted this time on the colour (my wife was unanimous that it should be it's original color) and you can't argue when you are out voted.  Attached is an Oakland photo showing  how the two tone should be.  It doesn't show the color following along to the hood very well.
