Disconnection when using a second web site

It seems like every time I am on the site and go temporarily go to a second site the forum disconnects me. I understand if this is some kind of security for the site but my underlying question - It does not sign me out? Is this supposed to happen this way?

I don't understand what you are experiencing. I personally use Google Chrome and typically have this site and others open more hours per day that I really even want to admit. I have not experienced what you are apparently experiencing. I would suspect it is something about your computer, your internet connection, or your Internet Service Provider.

I am with Matthew. I have never had a problem with this site. Been here since 2008.

Try a different browser as it could just be an issue with a recent update to that. If you usually use Internet Explorer, try Chrome for example.
