In one of your pictures above, you have a cardboard sign "what's this hole"....it's for a side curtain body socket, if you Google those four words you'll see it, a special fitting that goes in body and the corresponding attachment is on the side curtain to hold in place.

You can see it in this picture.

Making more room my sons rock crawler just started up and went 4-wheeling . 2 years that was fast

I have removed all the set up hardware and installed all the original hardware man you have to push so hard on the stander screws to stop them from striping out . Next hanging the doors this time around it is all finished the body fills  solid as a rock .It has been so cold at night I have not touched it lately - kyle

the last part to finish the wood work is this part of the door I plan on making a CNC  milling machine  program to make door frames so to restore a 1923 to 1929 car is not so hard to do at home but the first one I wanted to do this  by hand to get a good fill for how tight I would program the fit to be in the joints.-- kyle   5ac072b10bbac_20180331_1542451.thumb.jpg.0e3773026281c852f0b7951ff4f0357e.jpg5ac07227ba0de_20180331_1754541.thumb.jpg.9d176356860ff10b470fbcb4d427f84f.jpg5ac072da70c22_20180331_145754_HDR1.thumb.jpg.bfb4689167fe1e95dfa092a305b1f0d8.jpg

If you fill like making this door frame a 1/4'' shim under like this works out grate. First cut square 7/8 from edge of steel like I'm showing with the 90 deg. square  .then tilt back with shim under just the edge  and mill 1/4 off of front  to finish shape like the line is drawn on tape under the square .  "If owning A  business came with  A on-off switch this car would be finished by now.                To hold the body good and square as I replace all the small phillips head sheetrock screws that I assembled it with in the beginning now im pulling them out one at a time drilling a pilot hole for the original screws to go back in .the shape of the sanding block is the finish shape  80 grit sand paper  took 1/8 '' off in a min.

the pick up tube on my 1925 master roadster 12-1/4'' long with the screen  the last 2'' of glass looks like it would not let the tank get to the bottom vary well  the screen is so long 2-1/4''  .I have started cleaning the old gas line out what a nice looking gas line . ( side note ) this gas line is so nice it could have came off of a  helicopter such nice workman ship.

Just seeing how it looks  I am close to nailing the body to the wood frame .I figured I would be finished with this master roadster by now and starting the next Buick but my machine shop is '' mine '' to work at and my baby has to wait it's turn .--kyle  -- one inch at a time 1895577441_20180602_232514_1528009396399(1)1.jpg.d2071605e4f65e1fa6397f26fd35c6ad.jpg
