MrEarl
Have a friend who is wanting to upgrade a 78 Buick Estate Wagon currently equipped with a factory 2.73 rear end with the optional for towing 3.08 or 3.23 rear end. I believe both of these would also likely be posi-traction. He would consider a complete preferably low mileage towing package equipped parts car. While these parts could possibly exist in a LeSabre , Electra or Riviera, they would most likely be found in wagons. Perhaps someone has seen a 78-79 Estate wagon in a salvage yard? John_S_in_Penna
Ah, station wagons still don't get the respect they deserve! It sounds like your friend wants to use his 40-year-old Buick wagon, a car that should be lovingly maintained and preserved, as a tow vehicle! MrEarl
Surely you’re not implying that it can’t meet both of those uses
Bussa
I do have a 1970 Buick estate wagon for sale in running condition. It is equipped with the 350 hp 455 4 barrel engine, not sure which rear end. I don't know if this helps but worth a try. bussa.electric@yahoo.com Edited March 16, 2019 by Bussa Added Photo (see edit history)
