Guest Bjorn J. Furland Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Hi. Anybody know how to get light oak vinyl to fender to my 1984 Buick Electra Estate Wagon. Regards Bjorn
Larry Schramm Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 (edited) Bjorn, If you get some vinyl applique that could be the tough part. To get the panels to match, one of the tricks of the day is instead of just putting it over the base paint the rest of the car is painted you might need to paint the vinyl area a different color like tan or light brown or white if you are putting it on a red or blue car. Getting the vinyl may be the tough part. Just from experience in the 80's. Edited November 8, 2017 by Larry Schramm (see edit history)
John348 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 I have your cars cousin an 85 Caprice Wagon also in white. I looked into repairing some of the wood grain vinyl and found a company Phoenix Graphics had the correct pattern wood grain, Give them a try https://www.phoenixgraphix.com/
