Buick Reatta 89 cassette player makes humming sound

Hey Guys,

 

So I recently bought a 1989 buick reatta and I sent it to M&R audio to repair the cassette player and I received it back with a strange humming noise whenever I play a cassette. I know its not my speakers because I don't get that sound when I am playing the radio. It just happens with the tape player. 

 

Also, I the door of the cassette player makes an electricity sound whenever I have my center console eject the tape player... 

 

If any one knows how to fix one or both of these issues, I'd love some advise! Would beat having to ship the darn thing all the way back to Michigan, since I live in Ca.

I'd suggest you send it back to M&R with a detailed description. Call first to get a RMA.

 

Mine is just used to hold the aux input adapter for my phone, works very well for that.
