RHD 1947(?) Buick Super convertible on Aussie TV Series "A Place to Call Home"

I am not sure if this has already been discussed but there is an Australian TV drama called "A Place to Call Home" that features several right hand drive GM, Ford and Holden vehicles. Foremost among them, in my opinion is the RHD 1947(?) Buick Super convertible driven by one of the primary actors. I don't know anything about these cars to say if it is an authentic Buick with options that would have existed in the early 1950's when this series is set, but it is a gorgeous car, none-the-less. There is also a late '40's RHD Chevrolet 1420 flat bed truck and several Holden models and several of the "Ute" car/truck vehicles that have been more popular in Australia much earlier than they were here in the US.

The picture below is the best I could find online of the Buick from the show.

The Buick convertible does look like a 1948 model, possibly a 1947 model as they are nearly identical in outward appearance.   However, this car could not be a Special as there were no Special convertibles in 1947 and 48.   It is a Super as the script on the right side front fender indicates it is a Super.   Great looking car.

Buick were still building RHD cars for export into the 1950's.

In 1948 a total of 706 Model 56CX Super convertible coupes were built for export and a percentage of these would have been RHD.

In the same year 959 Model 56SX Super sedanets  and 107 Model 76SX Roadmaster sedanets  were built for export. Local West Australian Club members have examples.

Eastern states club members are listed as owning 1948 Convertible Coupe which may be the one used in this TV Drama series.

It should be a '48, since it does have the Super script on the fender. 1947 does not. Only way I can tell.
