trimacar Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Pictures, price, and these days with cost of gas and transportation so high, location....these would all help you in your quest to sell....more details, rolling chassis only? Engine? Transmission? Radiator? Please inform us!
mikewest Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 David If he finds a Franklin Radiator it will be a rare one. !!! He should check the ring and pinion ratio stamped on the right side of the case where the right axle tube enters the center section and see what it is. I don't see any value in the wheels or chassis. (Rust and wood rot) The springs are 1931 153 series .
LAMROK Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 Quote David If he finds a Franklin Radiator it will be a rare one. !!! OK that one is funny, i did have a mechanic spend 20 min looking for the radiator cap on one of our Deutz's before
trimacar Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Just checking to see if anyone was paying attention! Back in the old days of CB radios, a trucker would indicate his trailer was empty by saying he was hauling "a full load of Volkswagen radiators"! 1

I knew he was playing the crowd! and I was happy to point it out. Just for everyones information that doesn't already know it, A Franklin has a" HOOD FRONT" The proper name for the grill shell assembly and so called out in the parts drawings.
LAMROK Posted March 21, 2018 Author Posted March 21, 2018 I bought this at an auction to "save" it from the scrap heap and thought it might be worth something to somebody. are these parts of any interest to anyone
28 Chrysler Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Scroll down to the speedster section, post your photos and location there. If you are in North Africa, the people in New York sate may not want to have it shipped that far.
jan arnett (2) Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I posted it in the Speedster Face Book Group
