sosuzguy Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 I have already had to replace the light sensor with a used on in 2012. Is there a better option to for repairing these now? Thank you.
89RedDarkGrey Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 I simply used a $7 WalMart lawn light It's not "perfect" (you'll always have the B119) but it will still function. A NEW one can be bought for $48 + S&H at GM Parts Direct because many vehicle models still use them. Or- that could be a situation that KDirk said happens- it's still advertised, but not available. All it takes is a phone call- but some can't be bothered, and just assume. Here are my own photos- 1
Jim Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Like any other part they can wear out. I have tested good sensors available and can be reached at reattas60@gmail.com 1
sosuzguy Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 After driving a few times during daytime they started dimming at night! 1
89RedDarkGrey Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Sir- Are you aware- that the links in your Signature, all lead to a Wood Duck? =
sosuzguy Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 No, but I'm not surprised. I have not posted on AACA in a long time and that website went haywire a long ago. 1
