PONTIAC1953 Posted October 8, 2017 Share Posted October 8, 2017 you won't be able to bore oversize 0.125 needed to reach the 268's standard bore of 3.375. you would have to install 8 new cylinder sleeves to have 3.375 bore. i seriously doubt that sonic testing your 249's cylinder walls will show enough thickness to handle a 0.125 increase in the bore. charles l. coker 1953 pontiac tech advisor tech advisor coordinator poci.
