FJD2004
Are mobility scooters for people with walking difficulties available to rent at Hershey?
Steve Moskowitz
Yes, but they are sold out. You can check at the rental center each day to see if anyone has turned in their scooters or did not show up.

Matt Harwood
I'm going to tie a tin can to my shoe to simulate driving a scooter at Hershey. OUTTA MY WAY, SUCKERS!
Steve Moskowitz
If you rent something from someone else it must be electric.
trimacar
If it must be electric, why are there so many motorized scooters and golf carts running around? I'm sitting on the Green field now, just came back from Red field, and I've never seen so many different kinds of vehicles running around. some electric carts even have a little trailer with a gasoline generator, charging the battery as they go! and bicycles...too...I don't think the rules are being enforced this year..... trimacar
On a positive note, weather is great and people are nice, and the 8 am playing of the National Anthem is well respected....
Matt Harwood
I saw the guy with the cart with the generator on the wagon behind him. Anybody else seen the cart train? One fat guy on a motorized cart, one wagon behind him with his equally robust wife on it, and another wagon at the back full of parts and a big cooler. Woo-woo, the pain train's comin' through!
