Hey Jeff,

thanks for your help, finally found where that rod attaches to the vacuum control. I,ll post detailed photos of all of this as soon as it is installed.

Hi Tom, I have this clamp that fits onto the clutch pedal shaft and it operates the rod to the valve.  Might be correct for your car if you don't have one. I got it with a bunch of Columbia controls and its Lincoln but not 39.

dont laugh at my greasy mess---rod is about 23 inches, rolled loop on pedal end, threaded rod with clevis , cotter and pin....prob end up at about 24-25

i had no lift so here we go...see gentle slight bend...

Ok, just came in from the garage and I have every thing needed to get the clutch pedal rod  attached, then up to the vacuum control.

Have several control cables and one will be perfect. This will be easy it seems to at least get every thing to the back install the hoses onto, the shift control.  Thanks Jeff and Ken.   This is what makes the  forum so great!
