Lots of them sold in Canada, along with a variation called the Envoy which was only available in Canada.  One was sold by Chevrolet dealers, the other by Pontiac dealers. Commonwealth preference eliminated import duties on British cars brought into Canada since we were (are) part of the British Commonwealth.

Not a bad car, but they had one chronic problem. The transmission output shaft bearing had inadequate lubrication and they would get noisy.  Unlike today with recalls  being almost an every day thing, admitting a problem then meant a drop in sales so GM kept quiet about it even though a repair kit was available.  The result was a lot of Victors/Envoys with a bearing howl that was very noticdable in the car.
