Gauges don't Work

I bought a 1979 H/O and the Gas, Oil, Temp and battery gauges don't work. When I unplug the connections for gas and temp gauge arm bounces to opposite side plug back in and it bounces back. my horn doesn't work and my blinkers did work but they stopped the hazards work I switched the hazard relay with the blinker relay still only hazards work I recently replaced both blinker bulbs still no luck I tested voltage inside blinker double positive socket one positive was blinking at around 11(hazard) the other less than .5  the light under the hood doesn't work I replaced the bulb still doesn't work the license plate light didn't work when I replaced the bulb it works fine now.  I visible checked each fuse that is in place none are burned out or corroded. Any suggestions?

Find a wiring diagram and trace the things that don't work to their source and ground.

It sounds like a poor ground.
