Hello, this weekend I'm going to a small car show not very far from home.
The exhibition this pass to the south of France (Castelsarasin) in a replica of American / western restaurant.
This restaurant is called '' le felix ''
I go with a friend who owns a 1969 Cadillac Eldorado, my brother with a 205 gti 1.6 and my godfather with a renault 5 alpine turbo.

Thanks for showing those photos!!

 

Most interesting are some the American cars which were sold new there; most notably, the 1959 Chevrolet and the later Chrysler 300C Touring.  The 300C Touring was only marketed as a Dodge Magnum in the US & Canada.

Thank you 8E45E ! , I did not know that the 300 c was not marketing in america.
We see some in France in the exhibitions;)
Yes the chevrolet impala 1959 was very beautiful;), I like this model very much.

Nice assortment of cars from both sides of the Atlantic. Nice pix. Thanks.

It's kind of funny over here we have restaurants pretending to be French and you guys have a restaurant pretending to Old Western......................Bob

Thank you! I wouldn't mind that white Renault van or any of the Traction Avants. I am also grateful for the pictures of the '55 2cv. As I've stated before, you have been a tremendous help in my ongoing research as I try to get my '58 2CV van on the road.

Yes it is true, it is funny to see restaurants of the restaurants "French" in america and restaurants" american" in France ;)

At over $5.50 a gallon for gas over there you guys must be pretty serious about your cars....... :P

That tricked out '59 Chevrolet Impala is a thing of beauty........ :wub:

In France the full of gasoline does not per gallon but per liter, for example the gasoil is a 1.23 EURO the Liter and for gasoline it is a 1.30 Euros the liter ;).

LOL........I did the math.

As mentioned above it's interesting to see so many signs in English.........our Old West must have some attraction for the French........ ;)
