Guest Ken Perrotte Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 I inherited these components. The original thinking the grille may be from a Cord. They're in pretty good shape. Thanks for any insights.
gwells Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Grille is almost certainly from a ca. 1948 Packard. No clue on the pther pieces.
keiser31 Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Looks to be a Cord dashboard gauge panel or two and a Packard grille. The one on the upper right may be from a 1933 Chevrolet. Here is the Cord interior....
Guest Ken Perrotte Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Thanks for such quick responses. Most appreciated.
Dave Henderson Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 (edited) The panel on the left is the dashboard finish plate for a 810-812 Cord sedan, turned on its back side. Sedan, because only the sedans had the upper corner holes which are for knobs with which the windshield could be opened out. The panel on the bottom right is for the same Cord, and is the inner panel to which the instruments and dash lights are attached. The thin piece with bends is the dash finish plate's surrounding trim piece for the right side. Edited August 18, 2017 by Dave Henderson (see edit history) 1
