1985 LeSabre Trunk Light

Does anyone know what turns on or off the trunk light on my '85 LeSabre? The light sometimes stays on after I close the lid and it kills the battery.

Pretty sure my '82 still had the mercury switch in the fixture itself.  I could be wrong, I've slept once or twice since then (1998), but I spent a lot of time in that trunk...

If no contact switch (ala dome light in the door jamb), then it's probably a Mercury switch.  Until you figure it out, you can just unplug the lamp.  The Battery Run-Down Protection would turn it off if it was run by the BCM, as the dome lights are.

I took the bulb out and the socket and wire are the only thing I can find, no Mercury switch or contact switch. I guess I'll try to track that wire back through the lid.
