Earlier in July I posted a message on Dot Lang's site asking for assistance with fixing the brace on the back window of the soft top on one of our TC's. I receive only one reply- recommending that we take the car to our local Chrysler garage and have them glue it. Well, my husband trotted over there- and they couldn't help. Our TC is the very first they've ever seen- they actually had never heard of it and didn't know Chrysler made it- and they're very leery of doing the job.
Anyone have any other suggestions? The window is really coming apart now.
Thanks!

The brackets can easily be reattached to the glass by using "GE Silicone II" which can be found at your neighborhood ACE or Home Depot. That is what the top shops around here use to reattach metal to glass. Just clean the surface well, apply the silicone according to the instructions on the tube and clamp it in place for 24 hours. Be VERY careful clamping, and do not clamp directly to the glass, use wood or cardbord as a buffer. If you overtighten the clamps and break the window you will be looking at a very expensive new window. So far I know of none that have needed to be reattached after using this product.
Good luck,
Larry
