Hi, I just purchased some property and this car was stuck in a mulch pile. Can anybody help identify it? This is located in Oregon, USA.

Distinctive features are coil sprung rear, right side filler cap and fuel tank, and a driveshaft tube. I believe it is a 2 door, I'll be digging it out of the pile in a couple weeks, but I'm very curious as to what this is.

With its coil rear suspension and body configuration, plus the holes in the trunk lid seemingly for opposing-arrow turn signals, I'm thinking  that the '50-'52 Buick Special or Super looks plausible, but I haven't resolved the gas flap side issue yet.

Yep. Good call. I was wondering who made that recessed tire area. Here is the wagon version with the same stamping....

Wow thanks folks! One of the guys on facebook thought it was a Borgward but I couldn't find any with a right filler cap. But I was looking at cars a little too old, awesome and thanks again!

Coils springs at rear-Isabella had rear swing-axle but so did Mercedes-Benz 170 etc. I think first widely used in Hans Ledwinka's 1923 Tatra 11.

"Die schnelle Bremerin" was produced between 1954 and 1962.  More than a half of the production was exported-to countries with a high standard of living as USA, Swizerland and Sweden. But because of beeing a small independent European manufacturer they couldn't afford any major restyling .
