Guest GrandFatherTime Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Losing our storage space and need to sell... 1949 Ford "Custom" coupe. Flathead V8... Three on the tree... completely original except for the aftermarket turn signals added in 1977. Slight damage to the passenger door under the handle... trim piece is missing (see pics) Located in Albuquerque, NM metro. Car runs, but does not stop (will need brake work). Please see my ad for "1924 Flint E-55 touring" for the family story, and why we need to find a new home for this beauty. Asking price is $15,000... but feel free to give some input if we should reconsider. I am offering to the antique community first, because I know I shouldn't have any problem selling her in Albuquerque,... just a bit worried about the possible intentions of some buyers here. Please E-mail your contact info (Phone number preferred... let's talk) to CraigWMowry@Gmail.com, and feel free to "pass it on" Thanks! Craig
suchan Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Nice car, but it's actually a two-door sedan. Coupes didn't have rear vent windows. We're not supposed to dispute asking prices on this forum, but since you ask, for a two-door sedan with no brakes and a few cosmetic flaws, you might be pricing too aggressively. Check completed auction sales and the online pricing guides. Good luck with the sale.
