Does any body have a picture of the O/D cable bracket on the Transmission end?

My bracket had been cut and I have  the correct one. Kind of a L shaped bracket.

I have it bolted to the bellhousing  , Drivers side above the shift linkage where it looks like it would go.

If i install it here, there is no place to bolt the L shaped piece and it hits my transmission cover.

What am I missing here?

Hi Dennis:

I had a similar question a few years ago and Peacher helped me with it.  Here's a good picture of what it should look like on a '41.  I think yours will be the same.

Exactly what I needed. I am mounted too high on the bellhousing.

I can keep moving with assembly this weekend.
