HELP! What years Cadillac,other cars,do these late 1920s set of Buffalo knowck off wire wheels go to,fit? 21 x 7:00 photos. They are for sale

Dear Friends. We are going to offer this superb set of Buffalo knock off 21 x 7:00 wire wheels,hubs,brake drums,and hub caps for sale,with roller Lester tires,all for $3,800. My question to you guys is what years Cadillac,and other classis cars do they fit,like Packard,Lincoln,Auburn,Stutz,etc.? I thought maybe 1927 and/or 1928 Cadillac but can't very that. Inconclusive info in the Kimes/Clark book. They have Cadillac inserts in the hub caps. They would also make a superb set for a late 20s race car or speedster. I know the hubs can be removed and used on any Buffalo wheel,but we don't want to part the set out. A classic car expert friend of mine says he thinks 1929 Cadillac. I thought 29s had 20 x 7:00 but maybe they also had 21 x 7:00 . Can any Cadillac expert ID the front and rear sets of hubs,and determine the Cadillac year that way? Thanks to all,George

Hi George,

For your info there are different sizes of hubs for Buffalo wheels, yours are type C6 and will only fit a type C6 wheel. I'm still looking for type HC4 64 spoke 20in wheels if anyone has some for sale

Hi George ! Yes , the brake drums and tire size are definitely for model 314 Cadillac , 1926 and 1927. Here you see Harry Nicks' '26 roadster. Now wouldn't your wheels look good on this Cadillac ? Do you know Harry ? He might just be interested. I also know a fellow restoring a '27 roadster. I will call , or give you the numbers if you like. I know several 314 owners , being one myself.   - Carl
